We want you to love your purchase from Brightelier! If you're not completely satisfied, we offer hassle-free returns within 30 days of delivery. Our goal is to make the return process smooth and transparent, so you can shop with confidence.

Return & Refund Options

  • Full Refund or Store Credit: Most items can be returned in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery.

  • Exchanges: Need a different item? You can request an exchange through our Return Center.

  • Return Shipping Costs: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, we’ll cover the return shipping. Otherwise, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

How to Start a Return:

  1. Visit our [Return Center] and enter your order details.

  2. Receive return approval and an RMA number within 2 business days.

  3. Pack your item securely in its original box with all accessories and instructions.

  4. Ship it back using the provided instructions.

  5. Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5 business days.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or missing parts, please report the issue within 7 days of delivery. You can request:

  • A replacement part (e.g., a broken glass shade)

  • A full replacement

  • A refund

To start your request:

  1. Visit our [Return Center] and upload clear photos/videos of the damage.

  2. Our team will review and respond within 2 business days.

  3. If approved, we’ll process a replacement or refund within 5 business days.

Tip: Always inspect your package before signing for delivery. If the box is visibly damaged, ask the carrier for a Damage Report—this helps with the return process.

Refund Process

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method after inspection.

  • Return shipping fees (if applicable) will be deducted.

  • Processing times:

    • PayPal: Immediate refund

    • Credit Cards/Shopify Payments: Up to 5 business days

Important Return & Cancellation Policies

  • Non-Returnable Items:

    • Clearance & final sale items

    • Gift cards

    • Personalized or customized products

    • Assembled or modified items

  • Pre-Installation Inspection: Check for defects within 7 days to qualify for a prepaid return label. After that, return shipping costs apply.

  • Refused Deliveries: Please do not refuse a delivery—this may result in lost shipments, and we may not be able to issue a refund. Instead, contact us to arrange a return.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

If your order is marked delivered but you can’t find it:

  • Check with neighbors or your building manager.

  • Contact the shipping carrier (FedEx/UPS) for more details.

  • If the package is still missing, reach out to us for assistance.

Order Cancellations & Address Changes

  • Standard Orders:

    • Cancel within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

    • Orders that have shipped cannot be canceled but may be returned.

  • Custom/Made-to-Order Products:

    • Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund.

    • After production begins, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

    • Shipped custom items cannot be canceled.

  • Changing Your Address: Once shipped, we cannot change the delivery address. Please contact the carrier for re-routing options.

Installation & Maintenance

  • Our lighting products require assembly before installation.

  • Brightelier does not cover installation or electrician costs. Please review product details before purchasing.
